FAQ's
1. Do you anneal your beads? TOP Yes, all of my beads are properly annealed, carefully cleaned and inspected for flaws prior to putting them up for purchase. 2. What sizes do your beads come in? TOP I make beads in various sizes. Sometimes I use bead presses to make uniform sizes, I will list the size in the description. My beads are made on 1/16" or 3/32" mandrels. I have also been making Pandora, Biagi and Troll style silver cored beads that are made on larger 3/8" mandrels made specifically for the diameter of these bracelets/necklaces. 3. How do I pay for my order? TOP
If you see something in the Gallery that you like or have a wish for a special order, please just contact me and I will set up a PayPal transaction for it. Gallery pictures are for reference only because no two beads will ever be the same, each is a piece of unique art that cannot be duplicated. However, I can do similar colors and styles, but never exactly the same. Sometimes I do list beads for sale on my site in which case there will be a PayPal link for payment. 4. How will my items be shipped? TOP
First class shipping USPS with delivery confirmation to the US is $2.75. The cost for international shipping is $4.50. You may add insurance if you would like, but you must contact me first so I can add it to your order. I highly recommend insurance because I cannot be responsible for items that get lost or that are broken during shipping. I ship orders out within 48 hours of payments unless they are custom orders at which time I will give you an estimated date of shipping.
I can also do other expedited shipping options for you, but please request this so I can accomodate your wishes. 5. Do you have a return policy? TOP Yes, my goal is to keep my customers happy. So, if for any reason you are unhappy with your order, please contact me. Orders may be returned in the same condition to me within 7 days for a full refund, minus shipping cost. I also will do exchanges on some items. 6. How do you finish off your metal jewelry? TOP All of my metalsmith jewelry designs are carefully filed for a finished product that is comfortable for you to wear. I apply a thin lacquer to my copper and brass pieces to prevent further oxidation and discoloration of your skin. Many people like the natural oxidation of copper and brass that occurs over time, so if you would like this please tell me not to apply the lacquer. 7. What types of metal do you use in your designs? TOP I use copper, brass, sterling silver and 14kt gold in a range of gauges depending on the design. 8. Do you do custom designs? TOP Yes, I love to do custom designs. This increases my challenge and opens my creative world up even more. Please feel free to send me your request. |
